Alat ini mampu mengukur jarak 300 meter tanpa menggunakan prisma (reflectorless) dan pengukuran jarak 4 km dengan bantuan prisma. Jarak pengukuran yang jauh dapat di bidik dengan mudah karena memiliki teropong berlensa pembesar hingga 30x.
